JUNO Award Winning Rocker JJ Wilde Announces First Canadian Headline Tour

JUNO Award-winning rocker JJ Wilde announces her first-ever Canadian headline tour, kicking off in Winnipeg on October 13th and making its way across the country before wrapping in Montreal on November 18th. Wilde is fresh off an impressive run of European shows, which saw her open for legendary rockers KISS (France), Pearl Jam (UK) and Scorpions (France), and recently wrapped her run on the Canadian leg of The Unfinished Business Tour, as direct support to The Glorious Sons. Joining Wilde on tour is SOCAN Award-winning songwriter Billy Raffoul, with whom she previously collaborated on the three-track EP Born To Die.

Wilde has been on quite the ride since making history in 2020 as the first female artist to simultaneously hit #1 on all three Canadian rock charts with her debut SOCAN Award-winning single “The Rush,” holding the slot for 10 weeks concurrently in addition to spending a whopping 21 weeks atop the Rock Big Picture chart. She quickly followed with two more back-to-back #1’s: “Best Boy,” the IDGAF ode to altering the societal narrative for how women should behave, and her hit “Mercy,” a tour de force of modern rock in the form of a tale of revenge.

Wilde took home the 2021 JUNO Award for ‘Rock Album of the Year’ for her album Ruthless, and with over 31 million global streams, an impressive touring history and significant radio play in North America and Europe, including #1 hits in Canada and France, she has quickly established herself as one of the most important emergent voices in rock music. Wilde delivered her critically acclaimed sophomore album Wilde in the spring of 2021, which Atwood Magazine called “a hearty dose of dynamic, feverish, and unapologetic rock” and stated it “…burns with raw passion as the artist lights her own inner fire of empowerment, escape, and resilience.”, and released the EP Born To Die with Raffoul last winter.
